Feel the Shift: Welcome to Vibe Psychology

Vibe Psychology is a trauma-informed mental health service located in Coolangatta. It uses a holistic integrative approach that see’s the client as the centre of the process and their own agent of change. It is run by Natalie, an Educational and Developmental Psychologist who is an experienced, caring and non-judgemental clinician who curates meaningful sessions of diversity, which can include the creative; no session is ever the same. We tailor each session to you, your needs, what’s arising and your long-term goals.

Natalie works with children, adolescents and adults, including women in the perinatal period. Vibe is open Wednesdays between 8am and 6pm (QLD time) and is offering both face to face in-person sessions and telehealth (Australia-wide). Vibe currently has availabilities with no waitlist.

About your psychologist, Natalie Clapoudis

Natalie is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist and registered teacher. She is trained in working across the life span and is experienced with working with children, adolescents, adults and individuals navigating the perinatal period. She has worked in educational, mental health and organisational settings and brings this experience and specialised skillset to assist in supporting clients in her private practice. Natalie is honest and transparent, heart led and helps clients learn their own tools to optimise their life- at times she does this creatively through a range of modalities including Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Family Systems and Constellations, Symbol Work and Sandplay (to name a few).

Natalie calls the Northern Rivers home, and travels to numerous locations for work including Lismore, Mullumbimby and Coolangatta. She loves the variety of her work, the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients and to work in a wide range of settings. Natalie is a lifelong learner and loves to be challenged, try new things and take risks. She walks alongside clients and has an honest, authentic and laid back approach, which at times can include gently challenging or being curious. Outside of work, she likes to be creative (crochet, candle-making, pottery) and be out in nature or exploring different regions.

Educational & Developmental Psychology

There are many different types of psychologists and sometimes it is hard knowing what each psychologist specialises in, what they treat and how they support people with varying concerns.

When people hear ‘Educational and Developmental Psychologist’ they most commonly think we work in education and schools (or work with children and teens). Yes, it is beneficial for us to be working in/with schools but our knowledge base extends beyond education and each of us may have different interests and passions within this specialty area.
