ADULT PSYCHOLOGY SERVICES

Vibe Psychology sees many adults. Some of the difficulties we support are: 

  • Mood issues (i.e., depression)
  • Anxiety
  • Attachment and relational issues
  • Grief and trauma
  • Issues related to childhood and developmental history (i.e., parenting, bullying, separation, relationship breakdown)
  • Issues related to pregnancy and planning (i.e., planning, pregnancy, postpartum; please see Therapy for Perinatal Period)
  • Parenting: attachment, fostering your child’s emotional development, understanding your child’s behaviour; exploring parents experience of attachment and being parented as a child, family relationships
  • Other issues: self-identity, work-related stressors, sleeping issues, situational stressors, relationship issues, relationships with family members or friends, perfectionism, assertiveness
  • Practicing strategies such as EMDR, CBT, EFT, ACT, Narrative therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness.

Referral Process & Stakeholder Collaboration

Vibe Psychology is experienced in working with adults’ individuals to provide assessment and intervention. Individuals may opt to work privately with Vibe Psychology or referral from the GP for therapy under a Mental Health Care Plan. 

Telehealth Appointments

We are offering telehealth appointments to our adult clients (available through phone and/or video consultations). Telehealth appointments are eligible for Medicare rebates with a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your doctor or you can access these telehealth sessions privately.
